From Monday, 23rd to Friday, 27th of March 2026, your child can join a select group of girls and boys aged 11-18 for a week of intensive tennis coaching led by one of Japan’s leading youth coaches. Campers will benefit from focused, individualised support, allowing them to develop faster, and grow in confidence on and off the court.
This camp is open to both RSJ and non-RSJ families, but spaces are limited. Register now to secure your child’s place.

Confidence. Resilience. Focus. Tennis helps players build them all. And with the right coaching, your child can turn these traits into lifelong strengths that are essential both on and off the court. It is why Rugby School Japan is thrilled to invite your son or daughter to join our 5-day Spring Tennis Camp - happening from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th March 2026.
Building on the success of our 2025 summer camp, this 5-day camp will accelerate improvements in your child’s technique, match confidence, and love for the game. And thanks to the camp's small group sizes, world-class coaching, and programme content - your child will be inspired to develop their skills even further and faster. This camp will be an excellent opportunity for your child to immerse themselves in tennis, learn from Japan's leading youth coach, and get outside and active during the spring break.
Rugby School Japan’s Spring Tennis Camp is led by Bosko Tesic. He is an elite-level tennis coach with over 25 years’ experience - including two years training under the esteemed Jelena Gencic. This is the very same mentor who discovered and developed Grand Slam winner, Novak Djokovic.
Bosko will be joined by his team of experienced coaches - who will ensure low pupil to coach ratios. It is why you can be confident that your child will benefit from a transformative and enriching experience. But most importantly, your child will feel supported, challenged, and have fun staying active with their peers.

As well as training Rugby School Japan's tennis players throughout the year, Bosko Tesic brings over 15 years of experience working across schools, elite academies, and international tennis camps in Japan. His specialism in junior tennis coaching makes him an inspiration for aspiring players of all abilities.
A USPTA Professional 2 coach, Bosko will lead this Spring Camp alongside an experienced team of professional coaches, guiding a select group of just 25 students on RSJ’s courts. These low player-to-coach ratios are key to driving progress and ensuring individualised development.
Our first area of focus will be Technical Drills. These help participants master the fundamentals that underpin every game.
These exercises have been carefully designed to build consistency, muscle memory, and to improve stroke mechanics and form.
By repeating core movements under expert guidance, players develop their forehand, backhand, serves, and volleys - so that excellent form before second nature. This leads to fewer unforced errors and better technique.
Match play is where skills meet strategy. In these sessions, players put their learning into action - by practicing and advancing skills, and learning to think under pressure.
Unlike drills, matches are unpredictable, and force players to react in real time, adjust to different opponents, and develop better instincts. Our approach ensures pupils can develop quick decision-making, focus, and composure in a low-stakes setting. This helps build confidence pupils can draw upon when it really counts.
Skill Building is the bridge between technique and confidence.
While drills sharpen technique and match play builds experience under pressure, skill-building sessions are where everything comes together.
Skill-building helps players target specific development areas, improve coordination, and helps lay the foundations for future growth.

Monday begins with a series of drills designed to assess and sort players by level. This gives Bosko and his team the insight they need to tailor the rest of the week for maximum progress. In the afternoon, players review the fundamentals of tennis: grips, footwork, strokes, and positioning - making sure everyone has a strong base to build on.
On Tuesday our focus turns to groundstrokes. These are the bread-and-butter shots from the back of the court. Mornings are spent breaking down forehands and backhands into their technical parts. And during the afternoon, players will move into live drills - allowing pupils to sharpen their skills in real rally situations.
Wednesday is all about transitions - moving from the baseline up to the net with confidence and timing. These are essential skills, especially for players looking to develop all-court games. The morning will focus technical skills, and the afternoon will transition to tactical development.
On Thursday we will introduce the serve and return. These are the two most important shots in any match. Players learn to build consistency and power in their serve, and how to read, react, and return effectively. Expect breakthroughs and “ah-ha” moments.

And on Friday, we will bring together everything we have learned through the week. Throughout the morning, students will review what they have learned - culminating in a friendly tournament, organised by skill level. Here, pupils can show off their progress and enjoy the thrill of match play.
Delivered across five days, Rugby School Japan’s Spring Tennis Camp is designed to accelerate your child’s progress and help them develop holistically – building skills, confidence, and friendships both on and off the court.
The programme will culminate in a fun, friendly tournament, giving participants the chance to showcase their new skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

RSJ and Non-RSJ registrations received before 19th December 2025 are eligible for a 10% discount off the full programme price. If you would like to take advantage, please register at your earlier convenience.
Rugby School Japan’s Spring Tennis Camp is for boys and girls aged 11-18 of all experience levels.
