Rugby School Japan is thrilled to be collaborating with Liverpool Football Club International Academy Japan to deliver a high-impact, 3-day intensive football programme
When: Tuesday, 11th to Thursday, 13th August 2026
Where: Rugby School Japan campus in Kashiwanoha - just 30 minutes from Central Tokyo
Who: The camp is open to boys and girls, aged 10 to 14.

Hosted on RSJ's state-of-the-art campus in Kashiwanoha, this football training camp gives young players the opportunity to accelerate their development, benefit from Liverpool FC's elite coaching methodology, and train in an environment built to inspire and challenge.
This is more than a football camp. It is an intensive programme where players grow on and off the pitch, supported by two organisations that share a common belief in excellence and Whole Person Development.

Liverpool FC is one of the most successful football clubs in the world, built on a legacy where success is in its DNA.
At Liverpool, there is a deep commitment to developing imaginative, skillful, and intelligent footballers, while also nurturing young people to grow as individuals on and off the pitch. This philosophy, known as The Liverpool Way, is an approach that goes beyond football. It is about how every player is supported to become the best version of themselves.
Over the years, this approach has produced world-class players such as Steven Gerrard and Curtis Jones, alongside many others who have progressed through Liverpool’s renowned academy system. Today, that same coaching model and philosophy are delivered across Liverpool's International Academies the world over.
RSJ is collaborating with LFC IA Japan to bring the same standard of coaching directly to the Rugby School Japan community.
At Liverpool FC International Academy Japan, youth development goes far beyond building skills on the pitch. Expert coaches understand how to bring out the very best in each individual, not just as a player, but as a person. A philosophy that aligns closely with RSJ's own Whole Person, Whole Point ethos.
During Rugby School Japan's Summer Football Camp, participants will be supported, challenged, and encouraged in ways that build confidence, resilience, and self-belief. Each day, your child will leave not only technically stronger but also as a more confident and motivated young person, with a genuine love for team sports and a belief in what they are capable of.
Sign up today and give your child the opportunity to experience the same philosophy and technical skills development that have nurtured some of the world’s best players.

What sets RSJ’s Liverpool camp apart is not just the quality of coaching but the philosophy that underpins the curriculum, coaching, and culture.
At Liverpool FC, the player is always at the centre. Every session is designed to support long-term development, with a focus on growth, enjoyment, and personal progression. While everyone loves to win, Liverpool prioritises personal and physical development. Success is measured through holistic progress - ensuring players build a lifelong love of sport.
During the camp, pupil development will be viewed holistically. Players will therefore be supported across multiple areas to ensure they grow across multiple dimensions. Liverpool’s model focuses on developing players across five key areas:
Each day is carefully structured to balance learning, enjoyment, and recovery.
The above schedule is illustrative of a typical day during RSJ's Summer Football Camp. Exact structure and timings may vary slightly from the above as timetables are finalised.

The RSJ Summer Football Camp will be hosted at our state-of-the-art Campus in Kashiwanoha from Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th August 2026.
Set across over 10 acres, our expansive campus is a true high-performance environment designed to support every aspect of a player’s development.
Players will benefit from training in our expansive air conditioned sports hall and 4G training pitch (when weather conditions allow). Beyond the pitch, the campus offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped gym, sports science classrooms, and exercise studio, all of which are integrated into the camp experience.
These high-quality facilities will allow players to train, grow, and recover throughout the camp.

We require a minimum number of participants to run the Rugby School Japan Summer Football Camp. If we do not reach minimum registrants the programme may be cancelled, with a full refund issued to parents.
Please click the button below to register, and enter your contact details when prompted. A member of the team will then contact you with payment instructions to secure your child's place.
Registrations will close on Friday, 31st July or when places have been filled.
(Please note that places cannot be guaranteed until full payment has been received)
RSJ’s Liverpool Football Camp is open to boys and girls aged 10-14 of all experience levels. Participants are grouped by age, from beginners to competitive players. This ensure every attendee receives coaching that is personalised to their needs while training safely with their peers.
There is no formal language proficiency requirement, but all communication during the camp is conducted in English. We ask that participants have some understanding of English so they can follow instructions, engage fully with the programme, and request support whenever needed, both for their safety and to get the most out of the experience.
To ensure our campers have the best possible experience we ask that parents do not remain on campus during the programme - so as to allow coaches and players to focus. There will, however, be an Award Ceremony at the end of the camp where parents can join us to celebrate their child's success.
Absolutely. Parents who would like to tour the campus are welcome to do so. Please contact our admissions team on admissions@rugbyschooljapan.ed.jp. They will be happy to arrange a school visit.
Those attending the camp will enjoy a nutritious lunch plus snacks throughout the 3 days. We will request allergy information from families nearer the camp start date.
Once a place has been confirmed, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds unless the camp is cancelled by us. We encourage families to carefully consider their availability and travel arrangements before booking.
